Question about night powers?
The night power bat flight power don't make vampires or vamp lords fly it only makes them disappear and reappear transports them on land never in air, I've seen vampires use the bat flight night power without being a vampire lord so why is this night power only usable for the player only in vampire lord form and not a normal vampire mode I can't even find the id on any of the wiki's to even console add it to myself?

why? mods, of course. you can get flying vampires if that's what you want.

BTW your vampire lord form isn't flying nor teleporting, you're turning invisible and sprinting really fast. :-) you can't find it's id on any wiki as it's a whole stack of things. it requires scripting. if say you give yourself the "shout" for bats mode, 'player.addspell <id_for_bats>', select it and tap Z, your skin will do the blood ripple thing and a cloud of bats will appear, but without the script to pick the crosshair focus as the destination reference, you're probably going to warp insanely far across the map back to 0,0,0 origin coordinates or the center point of a cell or building if not overland... that's normally what happens when you move yourself without a destination.

sure it's possible to apply it to any actor you want (ooh vampiric teleporting ice trolls), but probably involves adding factions, idles, packages, etc. to said actor to make this stuff available. your best bet is look up one of these mods by someone who's already done it, or fire up CK and look at how it's done for known vampire lord characters. if you want to see the mechanics of how the actual bats form teleporting operates, extract your source papyrus scripts in the Scripts\ directory somewhere, and look at DLC1VQ08BatsEffectScript.psc which controls your character doing it, referencing functionality in DLC1dunHarkonBatTeleport.psc

I don't know exactly what you want here, or if you find this stuff fun, or this is "just too much". Apologies if I misunderstood.

The normal vampires are using the bats vampire lord night power by default vanilla so yes it seems sse nexus might fix bethesda's unfairness thanks.

I have never once seen a standard vampire go bats form and teleport, in 4000-ish hours combined, (and uesp[en.uesp.net] backs me up) so I'm thinking that's a mod, dude.

ha no worries it happens, and you learned stuff, and hey now you know what mod so figuring it out to apply it to you non-vampire lord self might turn out to be easy. have fun!

Yes that mod makes Bats swarm teleport power available for all vampires so it's not restricted to vamp lord only it uses Bats swarm teleport by DimitriyKostov it is a usefull vamp power anyone will admit this in my opinion it's like a vamp version of whirlwind sprint shout.
