You should give me cool stuff to try out on nexus mods...NOW!
I'm gonna try getting a mod manager so I can upgrade from the "CrEaTiOnS" that Todd Howard screwed up. So, I want to know some good mods to get. I don't care if they are lore-friendly or not. They can be the dumbest bull crap ever. I just want stuff for my game.

(No. NOT those dumb-ass boobie mods. Horny goofball.)

Try 'Legacy of the Dragonborn' great house and a museum to display all the stuff you find plus a few quests. Other mods are available that add displays to the museum if you a collector.

Serana Dialogue Add-On, turned a character I didn't particularly like into my favorite follower, modded or otherwise.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32161

Patches for the above if needed.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/70782

Auri, another one of the personal favorite followers, she even has banter with the dialogue add-on version of Serana.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11278

The Replacer I used for Auri
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36444

Skip the default opening and start somewhere else.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/272

Unofficial Patch
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/266

Interesting Npcs, tons of new Npcs with professional Voice Acting that blend seamlessly into the game.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29194

Faster Mining lets you ignore the tedium of Mining.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2656

Inigo, regarded as the best follower mod in the game.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1461

And anything and everything form Enai Siaion, the best modder on Nexus (IMO)
https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/EnaiSiaion/mods?gameId=1704

Just a small selection of some that I use, asking for "good mods" is very vague. If you have something specific in mind it would help,

Since I'm a person who likes good narratives and I want to leave a good impression at some of the good stuff modding CAN do, I'd strongly recommend The Forgotten City: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1179?tab=description

Just be wary that once you enter, you're not getting out until you're done (without other mods or console shenanigans). It's considered one of the best quest mods. So popular, it spawned its own game right here on Steam.

Another one that I liked due to its very strong introduction of the incredibly interesting stuff it does (somehow) within Bethesda's limited Creation Engine is Clockwork: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4155

Unfortunately, this one is a bit more touch-and-go, with the main critique being there's too much back tracking you need to do halfway for one objective. I'd recommend being able to at least smith dwarven gear in the smithing tree before doing this one, as that saves a lot from the back tracking issue in one of the objectives. Just like Forgotten City, once you enter, you can't get out until you finish.

There's also this 4th party mod for it that fixes some oversights and bugs. Completely optional: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/47087

Lastly, rather than a single mod, I'll dump a list of "essential" mods (very subjective) that are strongly recommended. These are tools that mods may rely on like SKSE, and Engine fixes, as well as a bunch of mods that fix the vanilla game, optimize scripts, and improve performance - like making it so physics and game speed is NOT tied to the game's framerate. Install any of them that interest you, or fixes a bug that sounds annoying enough that you really don't want to encounter it ever again: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/essential_mods

Oooookkkkkk...good thing I planned on deleting Gmod anyway. (Disk space destroyer)
