The only reason it would ever need to be updated for a patch would be if said patch changed/altered something in the vanilla game that BS: Bruma relies on/uses.
It was last updated about a year ago.
Looking at the comments, I don’t see anyone claiming that the mod doesn’t work with 1.6.1170.
It’s also the only tangible thing that the Beyond teams have produced as they continue to string us along for however many more years until they finally finish one of these things.
I say all this to assure you that yes - it does work with the current game version - although I can’t personally verify this as I haven’t touched the mod in a year or more.
I’m honestly losing faith in them.
BS: Cyrodiil has been in development for what? 8+ years now?
In 2018-19 they then told us that BS: Atmora was likely going to be the first done because it’s using mostly vanilla assets and would be smaller and more focused on survival gameplay in a barren arctic wasteland…and now it’s 2024.
The BS: Valenwood team made a big to-do about releasing their own BS: Bruma style “pre-release” in September 2022 - even gave us an exact date like September 17th 2022 in a long fancy video showing off what we were gonna get and what we were gonna be able to do…then nothing…and I couldn’t even find any mention of what happened with that. They just went silent on it and continued forward like they didn’t tell us that was a thing.
Yet, every couple months they update their YouTube and other social media platforms with videos and such for all the projects and make it sound like an actual full release of one of them is on the horizon…and they’ve been doing that for years.
I hope I’m wrong, but the “BS” acronym keeps looking more and more like it ain’t “Beyond Skyrim”.
