Moonlight Tales Special Edition - Werewolf and Werebear Overhaul [www.nexusmods.com] this mod give you more perks

I can't find the werewolf mod that gave you more fur color choices

and there are several mods that change eye colors for all races, and creatures at nexusmods site

I strongly recommend Growl over Moonlight tales.

There’s really only three overhauls: Moonlight Tales, Growl, and Manbeast.

MLT is the “classic”, it was the first real werewolf overhaul and added a lot of perks, changes to how roars and transformations work, added various QoL features, and gave you customization options for werewolf/werebear textures. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated/expanded since 2016 but it still works great and is widely used.

Growl is a bit lighter than MLT and tries to be more balanced. I’ve never used Growl but looking at its page, what it seems to have over MLT is that it gives you a few different means of becoming a werewolf, adds werewolf encounters to the world, can send increasingly difficult Silver Hand hunting parties after you, and has options for making followers into werewolfs/werebears.

Manbeast is a part of the Simonrim series, and if you know those mods then you can kinda understand - generally - what it does. It’s a more vanilla+ system. It doesn’t add a bunch of features/mechanics or make sweeping changes to existing ones - it enhances and refines the existing werewolf/werebear system.

Most other werewolf/werebear mods are pretty simple - texture/sound/animation replacers, and maybe a few that alter feeding, encounters, and other specific things.

I would suggest Growl and then using either Moonlight Tale Mini: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85234 or Diverse Werewolves collection https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7009

Both add extra spawns of werewolves and some variety to werewolves. And both have a player werewolf replacer.

Moonlight tales mini is from 2023 and is compatible with growl and adds sanies lupinus disease, giving another way to become a werewolf, if the companions or growl’s ways aren’t what you want. It also adds a way to switch howls in werewolf form, a lunar transformation system (best to disable in favor of growl’s) and a few other features. Theres also a MCM mod for it for ease of configuration.

Diverse werewolf collections player werewolf replacer is more flexible than moonlight tales, using the same textures but allowing more choice in how things like skin, eyes and teeth are combined.

I only recommend using growl mod. Makes werewolf much more enjoyable.
