FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP <Do I need this?>

I've taken a liking to mods with this as a requirement, though I am curious if its a hard-requirement or an optional requirement as I don't care for physics, entirely.

I am asking if I really need it for these mods, in order to just use them..?

Usually If you are missing the requirements, the object in question will be stretched, like this:

Sometimes it can also cause CTD when trying to equip it (clothing, armor, etc).

So if you do not intend to use HDT-SMP, you need to look if the mod has a version without any physics.

I'll give it a wee look, some of these mods were without the physics before I came back, *Testing engage*

You could have opened a new post and asked for some help to figure out how something crashed your game instead of necro'ing a post with a remark that may not be true as many use the mod, including myself, without issue.
