Does Savior's Hide count as "hide" armor for Matching Set perk?
I just recently receive this armor and I kinda like how it looks, so I been wondering if Savior's Hide count as a "Hide" armor for Matching Set since my character is specializing in light armor.

Thanks.

I am pretty sure Matching Set doesn't care about the specific material of armour, only whether it is light or heavy.

So you can mix the Hide with glass helmet, elven boots, etc., and still get the bonus.

thanks for clearing it up, the name and the description kinda make me think that you need to wear a complete set of armor to get it... kinda glad that its only require full light armor or heavy armor instead.

It looks at the type of material (a KEYWORD record) as well.

I took a glance and Savior's hide has "ArmorMaterialEbony" as material keyword. So you have to wear ebony based armor, together with that skill in the heavy armor tree.

Ugh ... that is a bad design choice. This armor is light armor but has heavy armor (ebony!?) attributes. Lemme see if I can find mods that covers this.

Edit: aside from this one, that makes this armor a heavy one, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1753 most mods are adjusting its attributes or alters its textures.
Meaning, if you want to have it complement with your light armor (maybe hide?) just open SSEEdit and change that keyword to a hide (or something else, that tool can suggest it) one.

thanks for the correction... armor material does matter after all... well, thats sucks... but again, it's just 25% armor rating.. not a big lose..

Ah, that stinks. Even if you have the Alternative Armours Creation Club, there's still no ebony light armour.
