Silverlock for SKSE64 is perfectly safe. And just follow the instructions. Recommend not using the Bethesda mod manager. Use Vortex or MO2. The built in manager is not very good.
Ok I manually installed the SKSE64 , website said use the AE version, which I did.
SKYUi also installed using Vortex and now game wont load up.
I disable SKYUi and game is fine
What did I do wrong?
In my Vortex mods list, it is saying the script extension SKSE64 2.1.5 can be updated? It is red and has an X next to it as in it is not working.
Ok, sorry I cant find it, any idea where that file normally hides?
I have found the loader and click then an error comes up 0000007E
If a newer version of Skyrim was released then the plugins may need to be updated?
Does that mean I have old mods, out dated mods?
Gave up, removed the SKYUi and games fine, guess I can do without dodge.
go here ..there is a guide "install with vortex" at the bottom on that page
and lot of info in posts tab
cmon dont give up now.. :)
So I used the SKE64 log to see what was clashing, removed the mods that clashed, log file now says everything is sweet, but game just no longer starts.
I then disable SkyUi and the script64 , game runs fine.
I just cant use for modding menu.
I will continue to play as is.
