First Playthrough mods

Hi everyone
This is my first playthrough. can anyone give me recommendations for some cool or fun mods? Thank you

You should probably just leave it as vanilla for a safe and stable first playthrough.

Perhaps just the unofficial patch and engine fixes to fix some bugs and problems.

If you want, you can try some graphical mods, but you run the risk of doing this incorrectly and causing issues with your installation if you aren't familiar with modding - besides that, also you can wind up getting lost in the vast amount of graphics mods and spend hours upon hours upon hours just modding and hardly ever playing the game itself.

Download them all at once using wabbajack. Try to google it, you can download 400 mods with one click

Skyui - better inv system also adds it so you can use hotkey(i.e 1 2 3) to change weapons/spells instead of having to go in the fav menu every 2 seconds.
TrueHUD - trust me get this lol.
Compass Navigation overhaul - way better compass shows actual distance to locations
skylandAIO + Bits and bobs - High res textures for landscapes and clutter items
Tempered skins for male/female - Better looking character faces/bodies
aMidianBorn Book of Silence SE - Better armor textures
Quality World Map - gets rid of the crappy fog and makes your map actually useful instead of a blob of fog

All these are easy to install from nexus just get vortex manager basically does all the work for you. I do recommend looking up how to install the SKSE its super easy. You can find a ton of videos on how to do this. I would recommend to install in manually and not through a mod manager as doing it on a mod manager didnt work for me. Again this is pretty simple copy paste into a folder.

Watch some videos on mods just youtube skyrim mods. I personally liked Softgaming on youtube showed me a couple simply mods to get but nothing that actually changes the game just UI and graphic stuff.

First playthrough, only the Unofficial patch and maybe SSE Engine Fixes, that way you know what the mods are changing, otherwise you have no baseline to judge from

I would say pirate island it adds a new island to the game with new armour and items and characters and I would say too Oblivion artifacts pack it adds weapons and armour from oblivion and for morrrowind mods I would say Skyrim home of the nords it lets you explore Skyrim in Morrowind.
