Maybe destruction or conjuration or illusion I know that vampires use a spell that lets them drain health.

That spell can get amplified via the volkihar clan. I was just curious what other people would use as a vampire :).

Restoration has a little exploit with vamps if I recall.

It does, but that same exploit also makes the negative effects on you stronger. So you are also more vulnerable to fire. And if you are using the Unofficial Patch, it is supposed to remove the exploit.
