next question can you give me a time ...
you realise they have more then one team that works on stuff right ? and its more then likely the team that works on TES is not the same as the ones that worked on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or fallout
also judging by the fact the marketing team is having full blown panic attacks about how to try and market TES6 its not looking good, they probably decided to pull it back and rework a ton of it
Yes, but they did not actually have a full team working on the game officially until starfield released, that's a fact.
The game was in pre production before that. Meaning a small handful of people working on concept art, writing story and quests, etc, but no actual development of the game, just ideas on paper basically. The game has only been in development for a year and a half.
because i know for a fact there was small development but it got turned into Elder Scrolls Online , then nothing for awhile until Starfield. TES 6 is not in development or there would be more out there , especially since MS now owns Bethesda so the team blaming idea went out the window after that. there will never be a TES 6 because MS dont like mods and the way all of Bethesdas games have bombed since SSE came out , with the simple proof you cant use MS games in conjunction with Nexus. the only reason you can with SSE is because it was already in place.
The Elder Scrolls 6 entered early development August 2023 as announced by Bethesda. Unfortunately that is the only official update in the last several years. So today's status is an unknown.

I can’t speak for Oblivion on back, but FO3, Skyrim, FO4, and FO76 got an “it exists” a year+ out at best, and we didn’t actually SEE anything until we were within 6 - 12 months of release.
Starfield is the exception, and that only occurred because of COVID. SF was supposed to release in the fall of 2021 but got pushed back two years, but they had already officially revealed it and started showing it off in 2021.
@PapaKat
You can look for yourself. BGS announced shortly after SF released that they were beginning full - all hands on deck - development on TESVI, and then in March 2024 as part of their TES 30th anniversary celebration they posted a write up on their website talking about the franchise and stated that a “very early playable build” of TESVI currently existed.
And after Starfield I have no interest in it!
