Flawless varla stone how to use it?

So i just found flawless Varla stone from random chest in dungeon and it says empty. How to use it? What is it for?

They are reusable souls gems, like Azura's star, but only for common and lower.

Flawless Varla Stones it was originally in the elder scrolls iv oblivion and they were added to skyrim in the game with anniversary edition it came out in 2021 and I have never used them in the game but I felt like I should mention that and in oblivion I think they could be found in ayleid ruins and they were blue gems I think.

The blue ones are Welkynd stones, which were also added, but they are not from the Anniversary Edition, they are part of Rare Curios, which is part of the base game now.
