NO! And long hours of not getting the mods to download.

I bought the upgrade and have now spent 6 hours with a support ticket open and have gotten nothing accomplished... There's a lot of good content (and it may be simpler to manage than mod organizer), but honestly seems more worth it to just use MO2...
I'd say it is worth it it comes with lots of new content to the game like weapons and armour from oblivion and morrowind and it adds goblins and nix hounds from oblivion and morrowind and it adds new locations and areas and adds new player homes and one player home is a pirate base on an island you go to on a boat. I would say it is worth it the anniversary dlc.:cozyskyrimvr::star13:
The Anniversary Upgrade contains everything foundon this page[en.uesp.net]. With the exceptions of Fishing, Rare Curios, Saints & Seducers, and Survival Mode. Those 4 were given away for free to everyone who owns Special Edition.

get it if you plan to play modlists, a lot of the major ones require it

i don't want to change anything in the game, so i chose not to use any mods. cause this is my first experience with this game, besides using MO2 feels troublesome for me. if there are many interesting things then i will buy it. thank you for the advice

You never NEED to use third-party mods. If you want an experience closest to the 2016 release, do not buy the "Anniversary Upgrade", which is an all-in-one dlc package containing all the Creation Club items existing before 2021 (Creation Club=officially sanctioned mods).

The post you were quoting was making the point that many third-party modpacks (large downloadable modlists) require the "Anniversary Upgrade" to work properly. You never NEED to use a modpack

BTW, you may run across posters here or on Reddit suggesting/insisting that you should downgrade your game to an obsolete game version. Unless you are a self-starter who can solve modding issues entirely by yourself, do not follow any suggestions that you downgrade your game.

No, exactly the other way around.
It's better to have the upgrade if you plan to use huge mod builds.

ahh.. so what you guys mean is some mods work fine OR only support the version of the game that has the anniversary upgrade on it, got it
i'll think again about buying it, or wait for a discount if there is one later, thank you guys
