Daedra plate armor for bandit leader despite being level 28???
Hi, can someone please tell me how that's supposed to work?

I'm only level 28 and did a quest from the companions, I was supposed to get a bow back from the bandit camp at Knife Ridge, but when I meet the bandit leader in the Knife Ridge mine, he's actually wearing almost complete Daedra armor.

Admittedly, the plate armor is from the Creations Club, but that shouldn't be the case anyway, right? You shouldn't be able to find Daedra armor until you're level 40 or so.

A few days ago I even found 3 pieces of ebony, 1x gloves, 1x mace and a battle axe. That shouldn't really happen until you're level 36.

I mean, yes I play with mods, most of them are QoL, like SkyUI or Unofficial Update, but only the ones from the Creation Club like Plate Armor also add new armor, but none of the mods should change anything about the level lists / loot lists, right?

Sounds like the opposite of a problem
I'm not saying that it's a problem, but I find it irritating.
The thing with the ebony is still acceptable, I'm only 8 levels away from it, but Daedra shouldn't be available until much later.

In my opinion, it destroys the atmosphere of the game a bit to get an almost complete set of Daedra armor so early on.
I've already thought about using CK to adjust the level at which you get Daedra armor.

But that doesn't seem to work in general, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it.
The bandit leader in Knifepoint Ridge is the intended boss to defeat to get the Daedric Plate armor. There are no level requirements to do most of the various Alternate Armor quests. You either started the quest (which starts in Dragonsreach dungeon) or starting the quest may not actually be necessary.

Really? Oh damn, I hate it when quests overlap like that. If I had known that, I would have waited until I had the quest for the armor active.
Unfortunately, the creations don't always have a meaningful description...

^ This

The bandit leader at Knifepoint Ridge is supposed to have Daedric Plate because he’s the target of the Alternate Armors: Daedric Plate CC and it’s by defeating him that you get the armor and complete the quest.

You may have triggered the quest by picking up a journal/dossier at an earlier point. Not sure if he doesn’t spawn until then, or if he’s just always there.
If I had triggered the quest, then I should have received an entry in the quest journal, right? But I didn't have one

so the armor was always there

If you know what you're doing, you can get dragon scale armor at level 1, unfortunately, the anniversary edition ruined progression by not adding level requirements to their armor mods.
Ok, if that's all it is, I'll do it. When I know which quests you have to do for the other armor (I did the quest for Ebony Plate armor in an old save game), then I'll try to implement level adjustments in the CK...
