SKSE issue

I'm going crazy trying to mod this game, I've played a few times on xbox and modded over there and I thought I'd try pc modding for some fun nexus mods. but I can't get skse to work properly with the latest steam version. Any solution?

get the latest SKSE and use google to find tutorials. They're the first that pop up on my search because you will need other skse-dependent mods like All in one Address Library (Anniversary Edition), and others for a stable game. SKSE does nothing by itself but your game will crash if the wrong version is used/loaded, and if it's not installed properly.

Just so everybody here has useful information, please state the version number of your SkyrimSE.exe (you can see this in-game in the lower left of Skyrims's system screen below "Quit", or get it in Windows from SkyrimSE.exe's "Properties"), and please tell us the version number of skse you attempted to install.

Last, before you start tearing your game apart, try running skse as an administrator and see what happens.

Tried latest from [skse.silverlock.org] (official) but doesn't help

-For a bit of a fine point, Windows sometimes interferes with the 7zip archive. Try uninstalling and deleting all the skse files, then redownload skse and before you unpack the 7zip archive right-click on it and in Properties>General click on "Unblock" before extracting the contents. Reinstall your Unblocked skse files and see if it runs.

Are you using a mod manager? If so, which?

yes allways start it in deufalt before do any thing
im starting it through nexus mod manager (vortex)
im using latest winrar
im using nexus mod manager (vortex) tried with Mod Organizer 2 but it was worse and didnt like it

It seems to work now, I did a fresh install with deactivated dlc (anniversary edition), started the game, closed it, did a steam verification so it installed the dlc and then followed the nexus guide and did a manual install of skes

Glad it worked out, I stopped posting because what little I know about how Vortex and skse go together wouldn't have added any value to the thread.

Just having skse is one thing having all mods actually supported on the skse release is another thing. You downloaded also the address library plugins for skse mod? source: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444

AE content is not provided by Steam, you have to login to Beth.net to get it, if you mean the 4 included ones, they do not interfere with SKSE in any way shape or form, it's a .dll mod and couldn't care less about your .esp mods. no idea what you were doing wrong, but you figured it out, so congratulations.

if you prefer Vortex over MO2 and the fact this thread exists, I'm guessing you're not very PC savvy technical-wise, so please take it slow, and do lots of reading. there's plenty of tools to help you that you have to become familiar with, but you have to learn how to use them, things like BodySlide and FNIS and half a dozen others you'll eventually need to use, some are hard some are easy, some extremely technical, but they all have pitfalls and "gotchas!" and can ruin your day or your setup with carelessness.

wait you dropped MO2 because you didn't like the way it looked? are you crazy? you can change it's looks, it's functionality is what you want! specifically instances![github.com] (separate VFS overlay images). but yes, it has a bit of a learning curve and is more technical / more powerful, so if you stick at this for months/years and decide Vortex doesn't give you enough control; you know what to do... but It's fine for many, though.

happy mod shopping! try not to go crazy and install 100 random ones at once, you'll probably regret it! but making that mistake is also part of learning.
