If you are using 1.5.97, I don’t think believe BFCO will work.

i'm using the latest skyrim version. so i guess i have to let bfco overrite?
No, friend.

If a mod isn’t compatible with the version of the game you’re using - it will either cause CTDs or simply won’t function.

Ultimate Combat is an old, abandoned, and outdated mod that hasn’t been updated to work with any version of Skyrim beyond 1.5.97.

If you’re using the latest version of the game, you’re on 1.6.1170.

It’s not a matter of overwriting it, you shouldn’t be installing UC at all.

If you’re looking for something like UC I recommend taking a peek at Valhalla Combat, which is compatible with 1.6.1170. It has similar features to UC and more, including the ability to deflect projectiles.

You mean MCO?

Yes. You download it off their website and then just drop the .rar file into Vortex in that big space at the bottom of the window when you’re on the tab that displays all your enabled, disabled, uninstalled mods.

thank you. it was a big help... i can't do modding soon though... due to some reasons, but i'd like to have your assistance when i start modding it again.
if i put ultimate combat to load after BFCO, will it causes crashing? vortex suggests to place it before.
