nexus mods alternative
does anyone have a mod website they recommend? looking for an alternative to nexus due to them banning mods that dont align with their political views even if its something harmless like trump as captain america in marvel rivals. modding is about player freedom but i understand there has to be rules but if you dont enforce those rules for everyone then theres a problem. plus the mods they've been banning dont go against their TOS. i know moddb is an option but it doesnt get a ton of mods anymore. loverslab is mainly just for explicit content. the steam workshop has file size restrictions which is a massive problem for a lot of mods. does anyone know of any other mod websites?

Steam Workshop does not work for Skyrim Special Edition anyway.

most mods are only available on the nexus, so your options are either suck it up or stop modding

Nexus Mods doesn't have any major competitors. You can't boycott a monopoly.
Anyhow, I think this mod removal is just a case of arbitrary moderation, I remember seeing similar mods that were never removed.
Well tbh they did remove some mods for Starfield in the past that removed the pronounce selection if I'm correct and lets be honest here the Nexus is not exactly free from controversy with their decisions as of late. I mean yes I use Nexus, but it's not that there's a site out there that offers the same choice.
