well, another way is do both in one, link and description... using braces instead of brackets so they're not interpreted... instead of {url}some_url{/url} or just posting plain urls, you can do {url=some_url}description{/url} in a more standard description manner, like:

( both require SkyPatcher, the former KID and SPID too, both solid mods if you like modifying distlists. the former makes everyone who does work into a vendor, fishers hunters miners farmers, the latter lets you easily vendor mod-provided armor/clothing with simple text file edits, and is good for immershun too, as OP never clarified what they want, just "more". :-) )
note this is easier to do via the web interface than the steam client interface because you can use scriptlets ala TamperMonkey to help you so it's not all manually done.
It’s an older mod that allows you to build your own town in The Rift. I never got around to trying it but it could be up your alley.
I believe it allows you to build various shops and services and assign NPCs as vendors and whatnot. Then you collect taxes and profits from these places. It gives me the impression that it’s somewhere between Skyrim’s Hearthfire and FO4’s settlement system.
A number of player home mods have similar functionalities so it could be worthwhile for you to browse through Nexus’ selection. I think Skyfall Estate has certain economic activities too.
Got it, thanks for explanation
