Shout - Unrelenting Force Removes Armor/Weapons/Jewelry "BUG?"
As long as I can recall, like since version 1.5.97.0 this phenomenon has occurred. At first I thought it was a feature when I knocked items from Draugr until it happened to me. I removed/went back over 300 saves to see if I could "FIND" a good save - to no avail. I find it annoying to try and play when I suddenly find myself running around like a skeever looking for my armor and weapons.
Suggestions please?
Yes, of course my current game is heavily modded.
Thank you for your time.

I've never lost jewellery or armour from a shout in the vanilla version, it sounds like u have a MOD that enables that action.

In which case, removing the MOD should fix the problem, to avoid being disarmed in vanilla, you use bound weapons, or Spellbreaker.

I see no reason, u cant use Spellbreaker and STILL keep the MOD that removes jewellery.

I think the Atronachs "magic absorb" works against shouts too.

Check over your mod list again to see anything that's related with shouts mechanics, might just part of the mod so check over MCM or just use standing stone along with some equipment like what he mentioned.

The shouts can be entirely absorbed with 100% magic absorption build.

Though that's hard to achieve if you are using USSEP since it removes the necromancer perk effect on player.

Thanks, I don't recall adding a mod that enables this action and I will check. Also, will look at the things you suggest for prevention.
What I find strange is there appears to be no information anywhere about this bug. At least I call it a bug. I did read somewhere that a mod conflict can cause weird phenomena and maybe this is a mod conflict. What I might do is start a new game and go from there. What I read about this particular shout is that you get the first part from killing the first dragon. The second and third parts from the Greybeards.

I am not using USSEP. I like my "FEATURES" as pointed out by the Spiffing Brit.

if it's due to a mod conflict then probably better remove it, because there might be a bigger issue behind it.

If you really like the mod, then just use second method sometimes it won't hurt.

Are we talking about a single item removal or more, like everything?

Is it possible to share your mod list? We may help to point out which mods may cause the problem. This is certainly not a vanilla behaviour. Either a mod has altered (1) the Unrelenting Force shout effects or (2) the script to "ragdoll" a (non-) player character.

Spiffin Brit is a Youtuber who breaks games by exploiting broken mechanics. Well, they aren't broken mechanics, they are features of the game. Like being able to one hit kill (or at most, two) everything in Skyrim using a fork as your weapon.
Oh lol might go give him a look see, sounds intresting.

I mean Necromancer perk Vampires is just a 'little bit' (finger tip universe) over powered lol
