If you just want the original textures upscaled and cleaned, then use something like Project Clarity[www.nexusmods.com] or Shadow's Upscale Revolution[www.nexusmods.com], which is newer and claims to use better AI upscaling. Keep in mind that upscaled textures are going to eat up a lot of VRAM.

If you want to know what mods the community thinks are the best, you should just go to NexusMods and sort by the number of endorsements. That will be biased toward old mods, but popular new mods will eventually bubble up.

If you're an absolute noob when it comes to modding (and even if a person isn't but just wants to refresh their memory), then you should read this - it has links to everything you need to get a modded game up and running:

Advice to New Players Regarding Modding the Game

The best is always going to be subjective. It will also depend on what hardware you've got.

Landscape
Weapons and armor
NPCs
Immersion and QoL

It's been a while since I posted a modlist, but it's annoying to type it out and link to all the mods.

This is basic and you probably already have it but "SkyUI" is a mod that is amazing for it's convenience and functionality. With it I would recommend "Untarnished UI" for a menu that will work for almost all load-orders.

If you want the game to look good and you have a good PC use an ENB along some texture mods like "Skyrim 202X" or "Skyland" (Project Clarity is good if you want vanilla textures and don't have a huge performance drop.) (You can skip this because it can be hard and really annoying if you don't know exactly what to do but if you are up for it I recommend it)

One more that I can't live without is an Alternate Start mod, I use "Alternate Start - Live Another Life" but there's a lot of them so no need to use this one. "RaceMenu" is also good if you want more customization when it comes to the player.

Links:

SkyUI: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604

Untarnished UI: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/75188

ENB is complicated to install so you can just follow a tutorial on YouTube

Skyrim 202X: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2347 ( Downscale if needed: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68307)

Skyland AIO: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34179 (You might need more the the AIO, don't remember, sorry)

Alternate Start - Live Another Life: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/272

RaceMenu: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19080

Hope this helped you and if you want something more fleshed out go you can look at YouTube or Collections at Nexus, there are a lot of good once there that you can get inspiration from. The https://www.wabbajack.org packs are something to check out if you want something... More

Good luck Modding

i appreciate it. I dont wanna see 1000 mods on nexus since their is no only vanilla mods
1000? you're definitely new. there's 1000 variants of face tattoos. if you added up all the mods unique to each distribution site, probably closer to a quarter million... if you can read chinese or japanese w/o translation, your mod pool is a lot bigger than just english-speaking sites. :-)

after following smr's guide getting set up for modding, your best bet being new is to watch what are called Vanilla+ gameplay videos, mod sets that enhance but don't necessarily change the overall feel of Skyrim... when you find one that screams "this is for me!" follow the collection/wabbajack they used.

- Gate To Sovngarde [Mod Collection] -

Only been using for a few days but highly recommended. Best to sub to nexus for a month though just for a smooth install as 1600+ mods.

Best to have the Anniversary Upgrade before going ahead though... But you can use without it. Either way you'll have a few steps to getting it up and running with included instructions + video. Been using a while without the Anniversary Creation Club extra's, but decided to Upgrade and re-setup the Collection, this was the only time I ran into a few hitches that caused me to re-sinstall Skyrim & Vortex Mod Launcher and re-download the Collect again! Total Mission, but flawless now and before all because I didn't have the Anniversary Upgrade at the start annnnd later wanted it.

Anyways follow the instructions and all should be kushdy. All up and running don't think you'll be dissapointed : )

I'm not going to go through each of your categories but the most bare bones essentials for me are:

SkyUI[www.nexusmods.com]

Unofficial Skyrim SE Patch[www.nexusmods.com]

A Quality World Map[www.nexusmods.com]

Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers[www.nexusmods.com]

Unread Books Glow SSE[www.nexusmods.com]

Unique Uniques SE[www.nexusmods.com]

Zerofrost Ultimate Armor Collection[www.nexusmods.com]

Daggercraft Package[www.nexusmods.com]
