Finding missing reanimated corpse?
I was moving all the stuff I found during the College questline from Winterhold to my actual home, about three thousand pounds in total, and decided to load it onto a random Skooma dealer I killed along the way. I made it to Winterhold, went into the city, and he disappeared. Now my zombie and a literal ton and a half of my stuff including most of the unique items from that quest line are missing. I still have the status effect so he hasn't died, so I'm wondering if there's some way to find him or force him to spawn before the status effect ends. I'm fine with console commands and mods, though from what I've heard console commands won't be much help since he's a generic NPC and not a named character with a static ID

Undead, even undead thralls and other permanent summons disappear if you fast travel.
I didn't fast travel, I walked from Winterhold to Windhelm. He disappeared when I went into the city
maybe reload automatic save just after you leave winterhold with your stuff...you can use command console too for carryweight

player.modav carryweight x (x is the weight you want to have)
If I could reload a save I would have done that. As it stands, the latest manual save I have from before I lost my zombie is all the way back in Bleak Falls Barrow because I've done nothing but quick save like an idiot, and thought that if I just waited he'd catch up to me eventually so all of my auto saves are me standing by the carriage waiting

hmm.. ok...

so you know they're dead, and know they were a skooma dealer or addict or something, and you raised them...

so try this 'save findhim 1' which will dump a full textual save and open it in an editor, may take a while depending on your mod load.... when it opens, search for the "ACHRs" tag, then search for "skooma" and look at the Life State value of each for one that is [0] (aka dead) but not purged yet, that's likely your slave...

even if they're an ash pile, if you 'player.moveto ff######' it should still take you to it so you can loot it... but if it's been culled already... well, guess what you're doing again. :steamsad:

then you should have an autosave from before you entered, load it up, take the stuff off him, and continue on....
From what I know about skyrim necromancy, all reanimated dead whatever they are, even with Ritual Stone, except for death thrall, had time limit, then they turn to ash after that.
