So, I’ve completed the standard game and unlocked all of the achievements. A week after I finished the game I received the Special Edition on Steam.
Could I import my save file from the original game into the newer version and instantly unlock those achievements again?

Saves can be coppied over. To unlook achievents, you need to actually trigger every single achievement again.
If it was an unmodded game, you supposedly can copy the save over and get it working in Special Edition. However, as far as I know, achievements won't transfer. You actually have to perform the action to trigger the achievement. Just loading a save won't do it.

Try this mod. It's a pain I know. I had to restart my achievements from Original Skyrim to Skyrim Special Edition. I unlocked 71/75 for Original Skyrim.
