What the Heck is Skyrim Ultima
I have recently came across the existence of a modlist called Skyrim Ultima. I am very new to modding in general. So can anyone of you tell me what's the actual scene in here

I have not seen it but Ultima was a series of games on the NES and SNES and probably other consoles.

Including Commodore 64
It's a modpack that grew out of the famous Nolvus modpack.

It contains more than 2,000 mods and makes major changes to combat, graphics, UI, and gameplay generally.

Do not try to install it on any system below the recommended specs; the utilities and modlist are quite taxing.

Any problems you might have installing or using this modlist should go directly to the list curators. Nobody else will be able to do more than guess at what might be causing a problem unless they also have this list installed.

Unless you are already a good modder by yourself, do not even think about trying to alter this modlist. While I have not investigated the Ultima modlist in detail, it's parent Nolvus has from 7 to 11 custom files (mostly tool outputs depending on your installation choices), not to mention the high potential for conflicts in parts of it's UI setup. You personally need to be able to sort out mod conflicts and regenerating the custom files if you start trying to make changes. Nobody here, on reddit, or anyplace else has time to reverse-engineer a 2000-mod load order or remote-diagnose and debug any mistakes you might make.

The results the individuals or teams who compile these modpacks achieve are astounding, they're breathtaking. Just be aware the changes deviate a lot from the original game, and may not necessarily be to your tastes. Most of the experienced players here recommend playing unmodded for a while before constructing your own modlist or installing a modpack.

Don’t try to jump in the deep end of the pool if you can’t even doggy paddle.

edit:- reads mikks comment, well poop... not a mod based on Ultima, sigh nvm.

Umm Ultima was a PC game series primarily (one of the best from back in the day), with one or two of the series ported to Console (I know i loved my copy of Ultima 5 on my Sega Master System (which oddly was better than the PC version))...

Ultima 4-7 (and serpent isle) were some of the peak in terms of PC RPG gaming back in the day. Ultima 6 and 7 in particular are considered legendary games, just a pitty Ultima 8 and 9 were some of the worst lol, oddly trying to be way to console and simplified, although i did love Ultima 8s setting and bleak atmosphere.

But yeah, a Ultima mod for Skyrim would be interesting if it is infact Ultima... I guess it would have a moongates system, and a avatar of the virtues game system of some kind?.. and headless, gotta have headless.
