Help Needed - Mod conversion (Oldrim to SSE)

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a brave and kind soul who could help me convert two mods (Shezrie's Lakeview Kitchen & Greenhouse) to be compatible with SSE. I have the files for the mods for Olrdim!

Your help will be appreciated :) Thanks

there's SSE versions out there, but you'll have to look... Shezrie kind of had a meltdown, tried to switch to paid mod development, didn't go well, got ripped apart, started removing all the mods even causing people games to break when pulled off nexus, her blog turned into heated rant after rant, bullet-listed craziness getting worse and worse... then silence.

probably one of two things, quit and moved on, or adopted a new online personae and is putting all the hard knocks learned to good use as a new modder... it's just the way of things.

ask on a skyrimse modding subreddit or discord where no one cares about modder's egos and such, and someone will put it up for you eventually... maybe try wayback machine, too.

If you can't find them elsewhere, porting mods isn't all that difficult and it's a useful skill to have. A summarized version of what you need to do is to unpack the archives (Old Skyrim bsa files are incompatible with Special Edition), optimize the content through Cathedral Assets Optimizer (optional in some instances, but always is a best practice), repack the archive (optional, but is a best practice), then load the mod into your game, run the Skyrim Special Edition Creation Kit with your mod as the active file, then save the file to convert it to form 44.
