Skyrim Anniversary Edition Upgrade
So I see people always showing off the content from the Anniversary Upgrade in YouTube videos, along with people saying how nice the Anniversary Upgrade is. I know, or suspect, that Creation Club content comes with the purchase. If Creation Club content does come with the Anniversary Edition, how much exactly comes with it? I have tried looking up what does come with, or if there is any reason to buy the Anniversary Edition, but can not seem to get a straight answer.

In summary, what I am asking is: "Is the Anniversary Upgrade worth buying (I would wait for a discount) and if Creation Club content does come with it, how much content exactly?

The Anniversary Upgrade includes all of the Creation Club Creations that were not added to SE for free. Only four of them were added to SE.

Do note that not all Creations are Creation Club Creations.

This is a list of all of the Creation Club Creations.

The Anniversary Upgrade is nothing but Creation Club content. It contains nothing else. No graphics upgrades, no fixes, nothing. It is just Creation Club content.

It's bethesda's servers which are ♥♥♥♥, and it may take a while to download the "creations".

It isn't bugged itself. Bethesda's servers, on the other hand, are known for having issues from time to time. The Creation Club stuff is downloaded directly from Bethesda itself through the game, and is not handled by Steam. So if Bethesda's servers are having an issue, you need to wait for a bit before trying again. Personally, I've never encountered a problem but others have.

And while some do blame the Anniversary Upgrade for causing issues with mods, that was never true. A patch came out at the same time as the upgrade, and like all other patches before it, it caused problems with mods. However, if you have installed the game anytime on Steam in the last year, it is all the same game version now.

i see, speaking of modding, do people still use nexus for mods? cause i have forgotten my account so i haven't bothered to try to login and that site is now filled with ads and pop-ups, making it very annoying to navigate
I would say it is worth it it adds lots of new content to the game including weapons and armour from oblivion and morrowind and it also adds new locations including mehrunes dagons realm and it also adds nix hounds from Morrowind and goblins from Oblivion but there is also I think 4 creations that are given away for free it is fishing survival and the shivering isles dlc I can't remember the other one sorry so if you decide you do not want it you will still get these.:cozyskyrimvr:

Nexus became a de-facto monopoly on mod hosting, at least for Skyrim.

Who the hell surfs the internet without an adblocker nowadays?

What? Money? Where?

I've been using adblock, then ublock with firefox for decades, and it was always free.

Are you thinking of a VPN? Those cost money, adblock does not.

Completely different technologies.

Adblock is a filter plugin for your browser which removes ads.

VPN is like a virtual tunnel, which connect your PC with an "exit point" somewhere else. This allows you to circumvent national site blocks, for example, or connect to secure networks.

I recommend either ublock with the firefox browser, or the brave browser.
