Fog disappears when I get close ( ENB/MOD/Ini settings problem)

I am so hoping I can find some help for this..
When I see fog from far, it stays and looks great. But when I approach it, and get within a certain range, it quickly disappears.

Im running alot of mods, but this issue happens with all fog mods. It could be an ini setting im hoping to identify..

As you can see here, first image out of range, fog is good:

Sounds like it's not real fog, but rather fog that is being used to hide LOD issues

ETA: i looked at the screen caps and am changing my answer to "That's just how fog works mate"

Its a really sharp decline, abrupt. It can't be right.

Im looking for an .ini file that potentially effects FOG.

Theres a good chance it had to do with "Obsidian Mountain Fogs". My fogs seem to have improved since I moved to:
1)Mythical Ages
2) Mythical Ages less Clear weather
3) Supreme & Volemtric Fog for Mythical Ages

in that load order! if anyone else is searching
