My spouse thinks the temple of mara is our home.
I recently married Lydia, and after returning from a mission, i realized she was gone. I teleported to her to see where she went, since she was nowhere in Whiterun, and i found her in the temple of Mara. I asked her to follow and sent her home 3 times. From the temple, she just went to the beds. From the wilds (after two missions together) she went to riften. And literally in front of Breezehome (my only owned house) she went towards riften again. I am playing modded, but the only mod that messes with followers is the one for multiple followers. I have zero followers except from her rn. What can i do?

The double bed in Breezehome should act as a bed for spouse, unless Lydia is for some reason still reading potentially missing housecarl bed as her own.

My guess, is there is an interaction there (from a mod, I would say) drawing her back.

Have you tried asking her to move?

Do you have a follower framework that has an option for setting their home (or return spot)?

I went through all my mods' nexus pages and none of them mention any interaction with followers. It may be "Multiple Followers Framework" but i can't see why that would be it. The only other mod i can imagine would be "Outfit NPCs (Inventory-Equipment) SE" since i used it to change her armor into a modded one, but once again, i cannot imagine a reason why that would be buggin her.

Is there an anti Mara deity that let's me file for divorce?

There are mods for divorce, but I have not tested any.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

What Ryo said, or this mod which adds a spell you can cast "Bless Home" which makes any bugged home or even mod home available to your spouse and children:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3862

I use it if I need my spouse/children to go to a CC home that's bugged like Goldenhills Plantation.

Thanks a lot! That one fixed the issue.

I downloaded both mods now and both are life savers, thanks for your suggestion.
