Lorerim Heavy Armor Stam Drain

Using the Lorerim mod pack and trying to play a heavy armor wearing build but no matter what perks I take I am losing stam even just walking around..is my game just bugged or am I missing something else?

That's from Requiem, you will always be losing stamina when running around, that's simply part of the mod. Heavy armor just makes it worse until some perks are taken.
