I've got the basic plot synopsis, the basic mechanics are there (INCLUDING several elements from the the official DLCS and creation club elements).
SO..we can either sit on our duffs and commiserate about HOW WONDERFUL it will be to tour HAmmerfell. 6 YEARS FROM NOW.........OR....we can start to work on...the dog's ...tail.....
Your move....apathy or action.
I had not played any ES game at all before I started Morrowind (yes, started - I have not finished it). Skyrim managed to attract me because lore was alluded to but it did not get into the way of enjoying the game. If ES6 were to follow your ideas for a story I would most likely write it off as incomprehensible and bloated with unnecessary concepts.
(No offense.)
I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish.
Are you asking for someone to help make your story into a Skyrim mod? Are you asking people to demand something from Bethesda? Something else?
Apathy or Action is going to become a self-fulfilling prophecy unless you elaborate a bit. Without any explanation of any kind, you're just going to get a massive shrug from most people.
The return of the Dwemer is an often touted idea, but when you think about it, all the other races have moved on, so it would be all out war between them and the Dwemer... The Dwemer can't accept other races as equals, and the other races have the history books to prove it, so won't wait for the Dwemer to strike first.... Given that, we already know the rough outline of that story, so it will be an act of desperation for Bethesda to do it.
Any other story has to be an improvement, and Bethesda know this...
The location is mostly irrelevant, merely setting the backdrop to the story/plot. Amd as BG3 recently showed, a good story makes the game.
From a dogs perspective? Go and make it then.
My main worry is that Bethesda will insert pronouns and trans people into the world, then gaslight those who disagree with them. I just want a good story, good gameplay, and characters I like. Recently I have hated the NPCs from Starfield and Dragon Age Veilguard, and wished I could dispose of them like I can in Rogue Trader and BG3.
BG3 and Rogue Trader has proven that games can be carried by good stories, but I think Bethesda has been sniffing their own farts for too long in California in the echo chamber of woke.
The Dwemer are long gone, a mystery never intended to be solved just pondered
