(Apocalypse Mod) Ocato's Recital and Spell Twine?

I keep finding conflicting accounts on whether spells procced by Ocato's Recital will also proc the relevant Spell Twine effects set for that spell. I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it to work precisely once, but could never reproduce it even under exactly identical circumstances. There's only a handful of mentions of the pair online, but just about all of them say the combo works perfectly fine and no follow-up or proof is ever provided of that.

Are these two not meant to work together or is my game just broken as usual?

I had some time so i went ahead and did a quick test for you. The answer i arrived as is: NO, they do not combo together.

I cheated myself a copy of Ocato's Recital, Spell twine, and Ebony flesh. I twined feather (50 carry weight) to ebony flesh and then bound it to the recital. If i actual cast Ebony flesh by hand, i get the 50 carry weight. However, if i enter combat the recital casts ebony flesh but i get no carry weight.

Is it possible it could work under some specific combination of circumstances? Can't say. But i feel like a vanilla armor spell is as solid of a test as you can get.
