Sorry, but if anyone can help...
I created an account with Nexus, but then went to install Vortex and right off the bat, this message popped up, I don't want to click unless I know that I have Net 6.0 So, where can I find this?

.Net 6 is a Microsoft runtime file and is a requirement for Vortex,
Nemesis Animation Framework and the Synthesis Patcher among others require it as well..

You can get it here[dotnet.microsoft.com].

I guess that from here[forums.nexusmods.com]

Yes, thank you, but where do I look for it on my computer, to know if I have that version?

From your Control Panel.
or
just type remove in your windows search box and your add/remove page will pop up with everything listed in alphabetical order. Scroll thru there.

I can't find it in my files.. So, what version do I install, since there are so many? 6.0, 6..0 15, 6.0 5, 6.0 SDK, 6.0 64 bit just to name a few.

Ok thanks, God, this is going to take awhile and also, none of the links you and Zany Scum gave me work, because they take me to the sites from the Microsoft Edge/Internet Explore engine, which I don;t use and Steam on that engine is asking me to create an account, which I already have, but won't recognize me and says that my information does nut exist. LOL

Anyway, I can do it through my Microsoft Bing search engine, which is my primary search engine and Google Chrome which I never use. Thanks!

You're welcome. Just make sure you install both the x86 and the x64 versions that way you'll be done with it as far as .Net 6 goes.

I just did from Microsoft and they both installed within seconds, which is great news, because time is our most precious commodity and stops for no one. Now on to the next step. Thanks!

Two more questions, first, where do I find my version of the game? I looked it up on the web, but I can't find any of those locations, except one that says beta, but that's not it and it's the least preffered way I would like to search for my version, while the other 2 wats are fine, if I could only find them. Just give me the easiest and fastest way please.

1) How to check skyrim special edition version
Find out about your version in the lower left corner of the “System” screen (Esc on PC, Start then selecting “System” on console).
Extra details on specific platforms can be found on the related pages: PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

2) How to check the version of Skyrim Special Edition on PC.
Go into Steam and navigate over Library, then select Skyrim SE.
Find “Betas” in the right column and click it once to open up a drop-down menu with two items: NONE or BETA_USERS.
Clicking either one will make your game appear as such in all games list within this subcategory for easy selection going forward.

3) How do I know which version of Skyrim I have?
Go to you steam installation folder, then browse to \steamapps\common\skyrim .
Right click the TESV.exe file and select properties.
The version number should be displayed in the details tab.

----------------

My second question is, should I enable or disable the checkmark for Steam's Cloud saves?

Thanks in advance, as always!

Go to:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition

find SkyrimSE.exe
right click/properties/Details Tab/Product version

latest is 1.6.640

2. I would uncheck Cloud saves. Just remember to save often in game.
ZanyScum Apr 14, 2023 @ 10:36pm
Version:
- Library / Skryim SE / Properties / Local Files / Browse ....
- SkyrimSE.exe / Properties / Details / Product version

Steam's Cloud save: yes
Imagine you are level 35, your PC dies and you lose all your Skyrim save games.
Or you get a new PC and want to play Skryim, instead of having to start a new game, just continue the current one.

Is Netframework 6 new? I installed Nemysis like a month ago (March 12ish) and it wanted me to install 3.5 (Wouldn't work with 4.8).

Just Curious. I am not messing with anything at this point. Its working.

Edit: Nevermind, I think I was confusing Nemysis for Vortex as the subject of discussion.
