Skyrin CTD when hitting the Esc key on PC to get the main menu

When launching the SKSE loader, I have a message that appears saying " Enginefixes.dll : couldn't load plugin 0000007E. This recently happened on two gaming PC's using Windows 11 and the latest generations of NVidia cards Trying to get the main menu with the esc key will crash the game. I checked the local files integrity (OK) reloaded the file : same problem... could someone help me solve this . Thank you in advance for your time !

So, you are able to get in game? And the CTD occurs when you are in game and hit the Esc key?

Did you previously have mods in your game, and specifically, did you have SkyUI and then remove or disable it - as removing SkyUI (or disabling it) is one cause of that occurring. It may, of course, be something else entirely, but that is the very first thing that came to mind when I saw you post.

Yes to both questions. Assuming that this is generated by SKUI how do I clean this up ? Thank you for your help !

You need to reinstall or re-enable SkyUI, or if you do not wish to use it (or if reinstalling/re-enabling does not work), then follow this guide EXACTLY and to the letter:

(Though I am pretty sure re-enabling it if you wish to use it should suffice.)
