need help with bug where popup spams ''event'' [FIXED]
i've been trying to mod this game and when i load a save i get spammed a ''event'', trying to click ok just makes it pop up again, also theres a loud sound which keeps playing non stop and theres a black screen (i can see markers on the compass but thats pretty much it)
does anyone have a way to fix it?

Can you tell us what types of mods you are using because it would help us help you better on this problem and I have never seen anything like this happen before so this is a very strange bug I have seen a similar problem on 2011 release there was a text on the screen level up from the start of the game and it eventually disappeared after a couple hours of playing but thats the only thing that I have seen that is like this.:rsdihead:

Be aware, that if you removed mods and continued playing, you likely have borked your game (even if it is not immediately apparent), as data is baked into the save and cannot be removed. You would need to roll back to a save made before the removed mods were installed, or if one is not available, start a new game.

For complete and definitive information regarding this see the following:

(Link is form the PINNED TOPIC Helpful Links and References, Section 5 - General Troubleshooting.)

Good luck!

You should have merged the plugins instead, there are various guides for doing this.

Of course, even if you merged them, what I posted still applies, since the original plugins are removed. But, as to merging, unless you really know what you are doing (and I mean REALLY know, not just think you know) then you should not attempt it, as to do it properly, requires knowledge of xEdit - and advanced knowledge, at that.

For general and basic editing in xEdit, one needs to refer to the PINNED TOPIC Helpful Links and References.
