Encountering CTD from Mod Organizer for LoreRim
Hope someone else has experienced the same issue that I am encountering that can help me with a CTD issue that I am experiencing with Lorerim.

I have watched a few videos on YouTube on how to setup LoreRim for the Skyrim Annv Edition, but stumbling on this damn crash.

I have followed the Lorerim setup instructions (https://lorerim.com/) such as creating a page size to 40000, Defining Shader Cache set to 10gb, Performing a clean install of Skyrim SE, Installed creation content, Installed Wabbajack and then Lorerim on a M.2.

When I launch the mod organizer I have tried both profiles Ultra and Default, and click RUN.

When I get to the character creation, and finish the character then Lorerim will simply crash.

My system is AMD 9800x3D, 32gb of RAM, and GeForce 4090.

First of all if you think we'll dive into what lorerim contains you're wrong. I mean I don't think many here want to dive in a large modlist to see what mods could be a problem
Nobody will look, ask the lorerim site, and also make sure your load order is ordered before you try to run it.

We have absolutely no desire to help you in this regard. At least not for free.

1. Such gigantic mod packs are a blackbox, which need in-depth knowledge of how they are set up and a certain level of modding tech know-how to troubleshoot. This is best found among the mod pack compilers.

2. Many people dislike such mod packs on principle, because they leech off of other's work, and are very close to a commercial product.

3. In general, troubleshooting such a colossal setup is a pain in the backside.

I'm a LoreRim user.

- I would rerun wabbajack and update if necessary. Make sure to check off the overwrite checkbox, which allows to install missing files.

- I would also make sure double check Preinstallation steps and the prerequisites software on the LoreRim website are installed dotnet framework or C++ Redist.

- Mod List Author has a Pre Install and Post install video on youtube I recommend watching

- In one of his videos he had his page file at 60GB, I set mine at the beginning instead of the 40GB

- Help is available on Discord. Its worth going through the pain of learning and joining Discord to get the game running. Enjoy something nice before it all ends.

- Mod Author Biggie_Boss will do one last update to 3.0 in a couple months
you shouldn't have to troubleshoot anyway, the entire point of wabbajacks is to make it so non-technical gamers can have the experiences of those who put the hours and effort into learning mod use, so if you truly followed the guide verbatim without deviating even a single step? I'd hop on biggie's modding bungalo discord and just ask, keep it simple unless someone asks for details. (you paste that MO2 log into the chat channel, you'll probably find yourself kicked) https://discord.gg/bungalo

even if they're dismissive to "newb issues", they'll still help you, send you where you need to go to get the thing up and happy...

Thank you Gingy, I was able to identify the problem and provide a resolution, so I am good. Off to enjoying Lorerim :-)
