I never tried this mod but it should work. Do not use the auto installer, install this mod manually. It is not packaged to auto-install with a mod manager.
Download it, un-pack it, pick which version you want and place it with your other .esp files within the Data folder.
You are only installing 1 file ##hours.esp
File path should look something like steam/steamapps/common/skyrimse/data

As a note, plugin files need to activated in the "plugins.txt" located in your AppData/Local/Skyrim..

If you simply drop plugin-file (...esp, in this case) it will do exactly nothing.

Furthermore if you want to adjust the respawn-time in the plugin. Open it with xEdit and find where it is defined, should not be difficult.

Vortex manages this file automatically

IIRC there's a house in the Steam workshop having a mine too. You could have your steward and spouse live / work there and they will mine the ores for you. All you need to do is collect the mined ores from time to time.

I can't remember the name of it as I have uninstalled it, thinking it made the player a bit too OP. But if you just check for player houses you will find it soon enough when reading the descriptions.

The thing is Skyrim SE has no Steam workshop. Only Skyrim LE has.

Winstad Mines puts a mine and fishery right between winstad manor and ustengrav. Some building involved with either materials or gold, and the place is yours. Set the script to either income, or store. It stores I think 50 a day of each kind of ore in sorted containers. I'm not sure, but I also think that the ore veins in the mine do not expire, but I could be wrong. When you have all the ore you set it to income, and then collect an income similar to the cc farm. The fishery building has some buggy textures for me, but nothing game breaking.

You end up building a bar, hiring guards and miners. Nothing like giving jobs to the citizens of skyrim!

Great mod! It is a permanent part of my load order.

After much testing, it appears that the mod does, in fact, work.

The problem was that, apparently, if you enter a mine (or any interior cell) between the time you started waiting and the end of the 72 hour period (what the cell respawn timer was set to by the mod) then the timer for that mine resets - so you lost whatever time you just waited for and have to wait that amount of time again, plus the remainder of the 72 hours, before it will actually respawn things inside.

This is completely idiotic IMO. I don't know if this was done originally because of some sort of limitation on the tech or if it was an intentional design decision but it doesn't make any sense to me to implement it this way, and this "quirk" has caused me hours of frustration in the game.

No, I suspect that you don't need to wait the remainder of the 72 hours. You just need to wait 72 hours without entering the cell. At least it works that way in vanilla. If the mod just changes the respawn period then it should be like that. No remainder. Just the respawn period starting from the last visit to the cell.

It's vanilla mechanic. It's not an invention of this mod author. It looks like that mod changes just the respawn time itself and nothing else. Cell timer reset rule works as intended by Bethesda and the mod doesn't change this rule.

Actually it's a good and correct design from the mod's author. No mod's author should change default behavior with his mod silently. Any smart modder have to thoroughly document all the changes which are done by his mod. And in this case it looks like this modder has done exactly this. So he is a good modder.

Also before judging the game you should at least learn it. Why do you blame somebody for your inability to do that? Do you expect people to read your mind remotely and do their designs as you would have expected? Seriously? Lol.

I think that the idea of this respawn timer reset rule is pretty obvious. Immersion.

It would be weird from that point of view if you enter for example an inn where you previously have gathered all the items and all those items would be there again as if nothing had happened. So such respawn has to occur after long enough time without visiting that inn.

So actually such design is pretty smart and immersive.
