Bloodchill manor
So i got a bit of a dilemma. I decided to try out the blood chill manor, and i had to run because enemies were tough. But now i got this orc named dawnguard following me around, and hes tied directly to the bloodchill quest. Hes essential, cannot kill him. Cannot complete the quest, as all doors are locked, and all enemies are safe behind said door. I read you could remove the creation club content and let the game reinstall, effectively resetting the quest, but i cannot find a way to do that. What can i do? I dont care for the manor (im a necromancer, and i use garrows hall) i just want the orc gone.

To uninstall Creation Club content, you need to go into the games files and manually delete the appropriate ones yourself. Bethesda never gave us a way to uninstall CC things.

Is the Dawnguard orc friendly or hostile? If you try to do the Bloodchill Manor CC thing as a non-vampire, the fight is rather hard as one of the vampires is very high level. If you do it as a vampire, that vampire instead fights with you and can take out all the Dawnguard by himself. Unfortunately, by leaving during the fight you have made the quest unbeatable.

Normally he's friendly that said better to load a save before entering or a save just before the fight and use the console (tim or tgm). Removing mods/CC from a game can have weird bugs ....

orc is friendly. im no vampy. There a way to complete the quest using the console? perhaps that will tell the orc to bugger off?

If you can find the quest ID on the Unofficial Elder Scroll Pages-wiki, sure.
That said, using commands to complete it will likely break any related scripts because you skipped the triggers.

Alternatively, if you don't mind deleting him entirely and have no intention of completing the quest the intended way, if at all, you could just disable the NPC to make it disappear.

Just make sure you DO NOT uninstall any of the base game content that used to be from the Creation Club:
Fishing
Survival Mode
Rare Curios
Saints and Seducers

Those are now all integral parts of the base game, in the same way Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn are, and removing them will break your game.

slight problem on the disable.
I clicked on him while in console, and typed disable. and he still there.

Then you likely didn't actually click on him. You selected something else by accident. When that happens, type in enable (to get whatever it was that was actually selected back) and try again.

i actually tried again in a different location, and no, still not disabled. i can use console command 'kill' tho. but thats a temporary solution

Tbh I have the same thing with certain stuff for some reason some things can't be disabled

Odd.

The disable commands should work on everything.

I just want this orc gone. I don't want the manor, all i want is to wake up in the morning in an inn and not have this orc staring down at me lol
As Speed suggested in the second post, load a save from before you went to Bloodchill Manor.

It has borked your game, so the solution is to undo it by loading an earlier save and levelling up before you try again.

heh, way past that point. progressed too far into the game to be willing to pretty much start over again.
Hello! I'm also in this situation just today!

I was too weak, had to escape. and when I came again all the doors are locked. I want to kill them all so bad! And plus I got a nasty orc following me which is messing with my Sneak and Thieving quests!

Can the moderators do anything about this. It is causing more trouble than the quest itself as the thieves guild quest require sneak and this orc is trolling me literally in sneaks!
