That’s not bad. Keep ‘em coming!
I hadn't really thought about her family's physical traits, but she certainly has icy blue eyes. She also has blonde hair, but sometimes she changes the color for a little while. Then she goes back to blonde. I have not determined exactly where in Skyrim she is from. One of her parents, I've been picturing her father but it's not necessarily him, is/was a smith or carpenter or both. Freyja is highly intelligent, so it follows that her parents are as well.
Freyja became fascinated with magic somewhere in her tweens after witnessing and meeting a wizard. (Either one who was just passing through or the court wizard in the city. Some of her backstory is still rather fluid, as you may have noticed.) Her parents, being Nords, were not thrilled with this and didn't encourage it, but she began to teach herself with whatever books she could get her hands on. That is, whenever she wasn't learning basic smithing and combat as every true Nord does.
Freyja, like her family, is an Empire loyalist, but believes the Emperor is weak and ineffective. She detests the Thalmor just as much as any other Nord, however, and may or may not still worship Talos under her breath. She is also very much a patriot and has ideas about how to make Skyrim better.
At the start of the game, Freyja is returning from a few years of studying (to the extent that it's possible) at one or both of the magical institutions in Cyrodil. By now, she is a Imperial Legion reservist, though of course the idiot captain can't be bothered with things like that when Freyja tries to tell her.
This is probably more than you ever wanted or needed to know, but that's mostly what I have so far in terms of backstory.
There's already one of those.
Also, I'm not real big on last names with "the."
Same for Grelod the Kind, not her actual surname.
