I know you can set up macros to move mods up and down the load order (macros are the wrong word, but I mean you can specify a mod comes before or after a mod), I can only assume MO, MO2 and Vortex have some way of doing this as well..... I would have to google a guide for MO, which is what I would suggest the OP does.
You can however flag an esp as an esl and it will then not take up a load order spot nor be subject to load first in your load order.
Obviously that would only be an option if the esl file you are trying to sort is available as an esp file.
I knew that about Vortex.
Never used MO2 so I didn't know about that.
BUT I thought you had to open LOOT in MO2 I didn't know that it was built in.
the guys are also right regarding Loot and Vortex although you use MO2. Not that it matters because it all comes down to Loot one way or another and the way files load. Which Southpawe explains.
Just so we are clear, Vortex does have Loot built in to the program.
MO and MO2 do NOT have Loot built in, it is a tool you must add.
