No idea, the characters all fall into very wide age brackets, shes an adult but under forty, can't really get any more precise than that.

Kematu: "Don't allow yourself to be fooled by a pretty face. You're better than that."

Saadia is a traitor to the city of Taneth in Hammerfell, the Alik'r are looking for justice.

She's legit if that's what you're interested in.

Thank you for replying my insufficient question
I know little about TES Lore thing so all i found about Hammerfell vs Dominion is "Second Treaty of Stros M'Kai" [en.uesp.net]
That has been signed in 4E180.
Our Skyrim play starts at 4E201
If Saadia did betrayal to her home city, it must be in 4E175-180.
And i believe she was a traitor then she must be over 40 but from Japanese standard like me she does not look over 40.

And you trust Kematu...Why? The Alik'r are bandits for hire. That's why they eschew any lawful way of achieving their goals.

1. They hang in a bandit cave.
2. They sneak into whiterun.
3. They don't tell you why they want Saadia "Its none of your business" when they initially contact the player.
4. They assault women in the Wilds with base justfications. Oh she is a redguard in skyrim, that must be our target.

I have wandered Aliki'r Desert EXTENSIVELY in Daggerfall (Yeah Quite a few hundred years before the events in Skyrim) and yeah.....Their story don't add up.

If she had really Betrayed the city TO the aldmeri dominion, she would have fled south....Not DEEPER into enemy territory. Oh and She has no mention of being an asset when you go through the embassy.

So......

Edit: Just to add more to Kematu. And bear in mind I am getting this with from the Prisoner in Whiterun and More importantly from Kematu himself.

Kematu does not tolerate failure. Either an asset or you are dead to him. He implies I only believe Saadia's story because I want to #($* her. Because as we all know, a Woman cannot be believed....only used for sex. So....yeah #($* Kematu. I will never side with him. Not a good person.

Indeed, neither story adds up, but I always take the view that Kematu needs to convince me of his case, given he is taking Saadia to an execution (he states this, trial is supposedly already done, but given his story doesn't add up can we believe there ever was a trial?)

There is no such thing as a "Bandit cave" Sure, there are caves that bandits hide in, but it's still just a cave. If the Alik'r are in a cave then it's an Alik'r cave.

They don't "assault" women in the wild. No weapons are out. They don't even stand close, and if you listen realize their mistake and send her on her way.

Not saying they're innocent, but no need to be overly dramatic.

The first time i meet Saddia she leads me into a secluded room and threatens me.

the first time i meet the alik'r at the gate, they simply ask for information.

also i'm interested to know what happens if you start the game AS a redguard woman, and talk to the alik'r. do they suspect the dragonborn of being the woman?

They realise their mistake because you get involved, otherwise they threaten to beat the Redguard women up...... and probably would if there were no witnesses.
Mayer Dec 18, 2020 @ 1:08pm
She's a damsel in distress, but seems very disingenous and forces the hero to cooperate.
That Alik'r warriors stop and frisk every redguard woman in Skyrim, are travelling in a inhospitable country and risk jail-time, means they must really want that woman. Kematu is angry at the player for killing Saadia and wants to transport her alive to Hammerfell for a trial, refuting her argument that the Alik'r were assassins of the Thalmor.

Saadia the Thalmor Agent. Flees North west, through Breton and Nord Land. Vice going south to Thalmor Land. Think about that!

Again Alik'r did not kill bandits and take over a cave. They made a deal with Bandits. Bandits are people who rob and kill people for their stuff.

You really really don't get it do you?

"Sometimes you gotta side with evil against a greater evil"......NO, NO YOU DONT. Eliminate both!"

Whatever. Do what you want.

Update: I would just like to apologize to everyone that I am letting my inexplicable hatred, loathing and disgust of Bandits, Pirates, Reavers, Raiders, Thieves, Assasines, etc taint the Nobel and Necessary work of the Virtuious Kematu and the Alikr.

Kill 'em all. Let Nocturnal sort 'em out.

If you wander around Dragon's Gate, you find them stopping a 'random redguard woman' in the wild and harassing her. I was all set up to start slitting throats when she stood up for herself, told the goons off and they left.

I'm with @ihateeverybody, when in doubt, slaught the lot.

So just like Dragonborn lol
Ethics in gaming < Taking stuff from dead people

It's just personal preference, i believe the Alik'r are honourable.
