Missing 'loadorder.txt'
So I'm trying to set up Requiem for SE via the guide on loverslab, everything's fine until I attempt to run the 'Reqtificator' bat file. The guide points out that the bat file will ask you to direct it towards the 'loadorder.txt' in SE's local appdata folder. I can find the folder easily enough, but the text file itself is nowhere to be found.

I've done a bit of searching, but either nobody has asked, or there's an easy solution that I'm missing. My question is: is there any way to re-generate the 'loadorder.txt' that usually goes into the appdata folder?

Users - user name - appdata - local - skyrim special edition - plugins.

Probably only shows if you're using a mod manager...just a stab in the dark though, mine shows.

Thanks for the post.

I've got plugins.txt, plugins.nmm.bak (can probably imagine which mod manager i'm using), and Plugins.sseviewsettings in the appdata folder. From the few semi-relevant posts I found, it seems that "loadorder.txt" isn't normally a part of the AppData folder, and if it is, it's not particularly relevant to starting the game up, as I can get to the main menu perfectly fine without crashes.

I've tried directing Requiem's bat file to the plugins.txt, but that just gives an error. I tried making a blank loadorder.txt and directing it to that, but that also gives an error. Verifying the data cache doesn't restore the loadorder.txt file either.

I use NMM, have done since i started modding, i have the latest community edition, it works fine for me and i see no reason to change.

I don't run a lot of mods, 65, i also use for it for the 2 Witcher 3 mods i use and they work fine.

Horses for courses.

Looking at that mod on LoversLab, it seems you are going to have to have MO2 to set it up, not NMM.

MOD ORGANIZER 2 INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR REQUIEM 3.3+ (by lilmoefow)

1. Before we start, check your %localappdata% folder (AppData\Local) and if you have a directory there called "Skyrim", delete it (backup if you want).

2. Install the Requiem Full FOMOD installer in MO2 and Read the text provided with the installer.

3. To add the bat rectificator file to MO2 follow the instructions from HERE step 1 to step 8.

4. When the Reqtificator asks for "Skyrim.ini", direct it to your My Documents\My Games\ SSE folder

5. When the Reqtificator asks for "Plugins.txt", direct it to your %localappdata% (AppData\Local) SSE folder and select "loadorder.txt"

5. Finish running rectificator. If you followed these directions exactly you should have no issues.

Ah well, I probably should have connected the dots when all the posts I read mentioned MO2’s profiles.

Thanks for the help.
