MO2 Modded Skyrim AE crash after 6 sec in new game
using MO2, got the latest SKSE. Loot says i don't... Now get this crash. Crashlogger: https://pastebin.com/J94zw7cm and Crash report: https://pastebin.com/mk63SFgs

Also can't get xedit to look for the steam location so only LootWarnings for MO2 works. I've tried for a month to fix this and I need some help.

There's something fundamentally wrong with your setup, if xedit can't even find it. Did you move the Skyrim folder? If so, where was it previously?

Verify the game files, and try to launch it as admin. Check if all skse plugins are up to date. Re-run the open anim tool.

Providing the LOOT summary might help as well.

i quit using MO2 because of the things that dont work right , try Vortex and youll probably find the problem and get help to fix it as well---without xedit.

It's the other way around. MO2 is much better in terms of troubleshooting and compatibility.

Vortex will tell you if something is wrong then guide you to fix it.
Vortex will tell you if your missing something
Vortex will tell you if you have cycles in your LO and help you fix it
MO2 does not do this , plus you have to manually adjust your LO.

Right, so the issue is inbetween the PC and the chair.

Use Vortex, i have used it since it was called Nexus Mod Manager.
Since you have spent so much time trying to fix an inferior program, i suggest you do the switch to Vortex. Every mod you download from Nexus mods gives you a button to TRACK it, so later on you can easily see all your mods by choosing the "Tracked Mods" category.
You will be starting from scratch to get everything organised in Vortex but trust me, it's worth the time. Just my personal 2 cents worth.

and Vortex removes that problem , manual downloads are easier as well.

Even more of a reason to never, ever install vortex.

ill let you have your opinion , but in my opinion Vortex is by far a greater MM.
in the end its up to them.

anyone who starts a sentence for troubleshooting this way, opinion or not, I would not put much stock in their technical ability, is all...

and your entitled to your opinion as well.
i came from console where there was no LOOT or real assistance learning how to mod and no choice but to do it manually.
i used MO2 at first and had more problems getting my LO right than i did on console.
Vortex is even more streamlined as well considering that 7zip is integrated into it instead of having to download another app.
i currently run close to 300 mods and over 15,000 animations through FNIS using Vortex and the help it gave me.
ive been playing Skyrim since console release.
so you can judge me from a single statement if you want , but its inaccurate.

It appears that PaPaKat lacks not only technical skills, but also reading comprehension, and most importantly, a sense of humor.

no i just dont like people that judge others when they dont know anything about them.
i have the tech ability to use MO2 i just choose not to and get the same mod experience using Vortex that you do using MO2 with less complications.

First where exactly on your computer have you installed Skyrim?, how have you installed it too?, you haven't for example renamed the exe?

That info is needed before anyone can look at whether or not you have the correct version of SKSE64, and your load order.

You need to be running LOOT and xEdit from MO2, so they can see the VFS.

MO2 does actually do these things.

Vortex will tell you if you have cycles in your LO
MO2 doesn't need to do this because it's impossible to have a cycle.
