Newer Mods seem so perverted....

Just to be annoying, I was looking through newer/trending mods and started laughing. There's so many that are, lets say "adult", in nature. The thought crossed my mind that all mod authors must be wound up teenagers not getting any. Made me laugh, I can remember being like that (long ago).

Some people only tend to notice what bothers them the most.

Looking at the Hot Mods tab alone, I see Splashes of Storms, Shadow of Skyrim- Nemesis, Smooth Random Idle Animation ad POISE.
On the new tab, there is Ryn's Bleakwind Basin, Destiny 2 main Menu replacer, Netch Whales, Zolupa Cult, Shadow Boost, Serana Dialogue Boost, Dawn of Skyrim - Enhanced Vanilla Trees, Main Menu Music Replacer - Severny Flot, Lion's Man and Forest Cat Wig Distributor, Bone Wolves on Solstheim, Malenia - Lost legacy, Female Head Reference for Modders, Cave Lamp Replacer and Craft Salt for 1 Gold.

Just turn on your filter if it bothers you so much. Don't dip into the earlier games in the series, while you are at it.

Well ofc they’re not getting any, they’re spending their time meticulously making chain mail bikini outfit #176 (with physics) and testing it to make sure it features hentai-standard boob bounce physics on their bright blue demon waifu and doesn’t cause clipping issues with the various sex animation mods out there.

most new mods are presets you see a lot of sexy NPC presets because its easy so even with minimal modding skills you can do it. ditto with the various vinilla armor part mash ups.

the horny mods that have actual skill behind them arent any more common than normal mods its just things like outfit studio and race menu let anyone make a preset or armor mashup

That can apply to any complex mod, really. Some of them, like Skyblivion and Beyond Skyrim, take years to make and have gigabytes worth of custom assets. Inigo V3 has had a development cycle longer than most AAA-games.

Re "adult mod category filtering" - I dunno, I think I should be able to filter out the juvenile category, actually!

There's a difference between well-done nakedness and three-headed women and Maximum Boobage mods.

In all seriousness though, I don’t think there’s any more or any less “pervert mods” than there usually are. It’s a pretty steady influx.

The “issue” is that the big game changing mods have either been done and have been out there for years, or they’re still in the works and who knows when they’ll get released (like the Beyond projects).

What I’ve been noticing is a steady stream of quality “little mods” - top notch texture/model replacers for a single item/creature, small mechanic mods, single location re-makes, and utility mods.

if there is a race that doesn't have a good follower mod you can always grab this and have the slightly reformed spirit of everyone's favorite soul eating sword wear the corpse of an eye candy follower as a meat suit.
