Without Unofficial Patch
How playable is the game without the unofficial Skyrim patch? Super buggy or barely noticeable bugs?

don't use the USSEP.

Could have just stopped there. Fact is Arthmoor is a problematic member of the community and shouldn't be promoted in the least. Some things it changes are definitely exploits, like the resto/alchemy loop, but other things such as Necromage Vampire are pretty clearly intended at this point since the Anniversary Edition addressed it stacking with the Undead Dog creation...so what is and isn't an exploit as addressed in the Unofficial Patch IS entirely "things Arthmoor doesn't like about BGS's design decisions".

It doesn't help at all that he throws an absolute hissy fit whenever someone else posts a mod that's JUST bug fixes, leaving the exploits in, or offers up a mod patch to the Unofficial Patch to fix his feature bloat. His whining has gotten multiple mods taken down because he's of the mistaken belief that he has a monopoly on Unofficial Patches.

People still thinks Arthmoor is the only author working on USSEP .... shocker he isn't

except that's not what I said.

What my exact statement was is the following:

Bottom line is really simple, if you don't like the changes do not use the USSEP. If you don't mind the bugs don't use the USSEP.
I have no skin in the game as to Arthmoor. I'm not getting involved in all that nonsense.

Depends on other factors. Bottom line is that it is at least buggier without it. Because the USSEP does not remove ALL issues. That's why most of us also use mods like SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)[www.nexusmods.com] + SKSE64[skse.silverlock.org], and other fix type mods.

And if you are using the Anniversary DLC Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches [www.nexusmods.com]

It's also a matter of opinion to think that bugs and exploits were BGS design decisions. BGS left it to the modding community to solve those issues by releasing the Creation Kit in May 2012, only half a year after the official release of the game, and moved on by releaseing the DLCs and recompiling the game engine to 64-bit. Where did it bring them: a game that is still very popular after nearly 11 years.

It's your choice! Use the patches or don't! But don't start ranting about something many of us already know since Skyrim's first release.

Its in the barely noticeable category.
I disagree, way more buggy than Oblivion and New Vegas vanilla.

So basically you agree to people being exploited to fix others' mistakes and not be financially compensated. And Bethesda doesn't even host those patches in Creation Club. Fail.

Agree with others regarding the Unofficial Patch. I used it on Xbox as well. I just don't see myself playing without it anymore. I did play without it for a while on Xbox and understand anything people say about what it changes.

Doesn't say it's in CC.

It is must have, a mandatory. I just can't see why would you play without it
It's not an absolute must have lol. Now if there wasn't a developer console, then yeah it'd be needed. Games like Morrowind and San Andreas pretty much need mods to play it.

Actually we already knew this with the release of the TES Construction Set for Morrowind (equivalent for Skyrim's Creation Kit) , which was released somewhere in 2003, I think, but not quite sure. And no, I don't agree. Bethesda should have provided proper updates, but they didn't. That's our situation and we have to deal with it! But, I don't mind. Gee, look at who is causing more drama in the modding community again:

Seriously, don't use the Unofficial Patch. With some googling you can find better bug patches.

Giants throwing you into the air has always been in the game, it is not a issue of the mod.
This is confirmed by the BGS dev who actually made the giants, Jonah Lobb, in that making of Skyrim anniversary video. If you haven't seen it and love Skyrim, worth the watch.

Ok then, continue being exploited by big corporations under the guise of "open source collaboration".

So its a day ending in a Y?

I had more, but you wouldn't listen and its not appropes for a gaming forum.
