Eating hot soup, stand near a fire help too...
And you could craft some Furred armour too,
https://eightify.app/media/skyrim-anniversary-edition-survival-mode-tips-how-to-manage
Instead use a survival Mod, they have settings for how challenging it will be.
So I can only play the game without survival mode as there are no properly warm clothes to buy anywhere? lol
I have furred armor but its useless.
I mean even when I go to the magician school and get the robe, I still freeze my a off...while other characters got no issues with the cold.
Seems odd to give me clothes that dont work in a cold area.
- Make shorter trips
- Plan trips to ensure you stay warm.
- food is great
- Some outfits are warmer than others. (fur helmets and merchant hats are warm)
- being cold and slowing down doesn't always mean die, you can still get through, it's just more difficult. Which BTW if you were crossing a frozen mountain on foot, that would be more difficult.
- There are many mods out there that can make it fun.
- go figure, setting yourself on fire warms you up!
don't give up
