How does Mod Organizer Work?
Hi Everyone, I'm trying to launch Skyrim SE with MO, but when I launch the game from MO with Skyrim SE Launcher a window appears with this written: "Mod Organizer is stuck while the application is open SkyrimSELauncher.exe", and of course it starts loading but stops and the game doesn't start.
What's the problem? Can anyone help me solve it please?

Have it point to the actual game exe instead of the launcher

okay, so from Skyrimspecialedition.exe, but is there a procedure to do from MO to make it point the startup from MO to Skyrimspecialedition.exe

I studied the entire tutorial of the program quite well, i downloaded about 50 mods, there are no conflicts, I executed the order of the plugins, everything seems okay, at least I think so :)...
Thanks anyway for the support, I will go and see the video guide!

be aware that modding Skyrim will always be a bit of a trial and error experience. Even for mod makers, their own mods can sometimes have unforeseen conflicts causing problems.

never, ever try to install a lot of mods at the same time. downloading them is fine, but you're going to be in a mess if you try and install 50 mods at once.

Install 2 or 3 at a time, and then launch the game to see if it works. If it does, then you can add more. If it doesn't, you only have 2 or 3 mods to figure out. If you do a bunch at once you'll have no idea where the problem is and it's unlikely anyone will be able to help you.

Ideally you'll actually want to start a new game each time to see if there are any problems once character creation is complete and mods load. You need to use an alternate start mod, no way you'd want to do that with the base game start since that opening cutscene takes forever. With an alternate start mod you can go straight to character creation, accept the default, and see if there are any issues as mods load. I know that sounds tedious but it can help you figure out some problems are faster that most alternatives.

Just make sure to run LOOT every time you add or remove mods, or change you load order. Let LOOT do the auto sorting unless you now where the potential conflicts are.

In MO2 you can see the conflicts, which mods are overwriting which others. You'll want to do that alot to figure out problems. Pretty much any large mod is going to have at least one conflict, which in most cases is fine if the mod makers don't list a known issue. You'll want them to be in the correct load order, though, to make sure the overwrites are correct.

For example, if you have facial textures mod to improve the look of characters and has some basic eye textures, and you have a dedicated eye mod that give HD eyes you want to use. Then the HD eyes needs to load after the face mod and you'll be able to see the appropriate overwrites in the conflicts list for both mods. If the load order is the other way, then the HD eyes will just get overwritten by the dull basic textures and you'll wonder why you aren't getting the nice looking eyes you wanted. Just a hypothetical example.
