Do You Think Vanilla Skyrim Has Seasons?
I've had the above question on my mind for some time.

I do believe that sunset/sunrise changes a bit by month in Skyrim, just like in reality.
But I've never been sure on weather, partially because I run a modded playthrough.
But it seems like in all my hours spent in this game, the later part of the year will cause snow to fall in places it normally doesn't.
I've also noticed whenever I start the game, it rains heavily all the time but lets up after a month or two.

This could just be the work of mods having effects I am not aware of, or it could just be my imagination.
I am standing in Solitude on the 11th of Hearthfire right now and it is currently Snowing. I don't believe it typically snows here.

Yes Skyrim has "seasons", but not as we know em, we get a "impression" pretty good though aint it.. Skyrim has no seasons.

If you really look, you'll also notice, summer nights seem to have more "light".

it's so hard to say. I want to say yes, but gosh confirmation bias is such a thing and anything I think of as "examples" to provide are...really just that. So IDK!

Skyrim months:

There's 12 months in Skyrim, just like in reality, and the weather will change according to the time of year.

IMHO, No! There are 12 months, which means Nirn orbits its sun in 12 months, but that doesn't say anything about seasons. The sun is rising and setting at the same spot each day, means that Nirn doesn't have a tilted orbit. The northern part of Skyrim should be snowy/icy, roughly from Windhelm to Karthwasten, including Solitude and Dragon Bridge.

Seasons haven't been in the series since Daggerfall.
nothing changes, so seasons are locked.
