Why are there so many porn mods for this game?

What is the reason for this? And its not just this game but every bethesda game except starfield. But this game has over hundreds of porn mods. What seems to be the reason and why does bethesda doesn't do anything about it?

Yeah I wondered the exact same when I went over to nexusmods. Like, I really do enjoy having great looking characters but I really dont care if their breasts jiggle the perfect way and I REALLY dislike the mods that have breasts bigger than their heads. Triple/quadruple Z is just ridiculous.

Not really, I play DarkTide and there arent any porn mods that I am aware of.

Like, if you want/need a wank then go have one. Porn sites exist, go there! I really dont see the need to bring into games.

Lol, giving the public the tools necessary to actively mod their games and then turn the tables and sue is not a good luck. Even if you disagree with the content they make, you gave them the tools. Fact is, Bethesda actively endorse and support ALL mods. And they hired modders over the years. Sex sells. People will buy these games to mod in sex.

Extra tidbit: Fantasy and erotica have been around and gone hand in hand for literally decades and centuries. Games are no exception to this.

Majority of the porn sites are blocked by almost all the major ISPs. Stop twisting words and justifying pornography as entertainment. Its not. Its disgusting, unethical and immoral.

hello, person from a very restricted country. the rest of the world actually does not block porn (and does advertise it, in appropriate locations!), and it is not actually illegal across the board. just where you are. =) it's a weird way to learn that laws in different countries are different, but hey, learning is good!

either that, or mommy/daddy is lying to you and the sites are blocked on your router. ^^ ISPs aren't blocking porn sites in the US for being porn sites. Pretty sure EU folks are allowed to look at porn, too. Our Canadian bothers certainly are allowed (but I mean what else are they gonna do it's not like there's much action out in the wilderness). Japan DEFINITELY allows porn, though I'm not clear if it HAS to be cartoon, or if they can do live action, too.

OP lives in a high-control group that has some tech know-how and has been lied to about the accessibility of pornography.

While I do think pornography is bad for you, I still wouldn't argue for having it banned. That's a whole other argument.

Skyrim's Porn vs. Non-Porn mods ratio is not unusual, to be honest.
If you visit other popular modding games (such as Minecraft and The Sims) will notice very similar ratios.

Part of me wonders why you care so much what others do with their game OP, or what options that modders give? It's a option OP, if you don't like the option, then you're free to not use the option in your game.

If anything, people want to add more to the relationship system in this game, hence the mods. By your conclusion though, you may as well complain about Baldur's Gate 3, Mass Effect games, Dragon Age games, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA, and pretty much any game that has sex in it.
