I'm willing to go through the effort to fill the black stars, theres also the fact regular Black gems have weight.
But maybe I will just do that, add some unfilled ones.
Because that's too far, I'm looking to decrease the tedium of Enchanting and that's it, nothing else needs to change.
1 - The Black Star's weight is ignored only while Azura's quest has not yet been completed.
2 - If you create additional Black Stars while the quest has not been completed then you will likely mess up the quest.
3 - However, if you already have completed the quest then each additional Black Star will count against your carrying weight just like a black soul gem.
Also, have you considered using the "player.advskill" console command as an alternative?
EDIT:----------
Edited after Rez Elwin pointed out that the Black Star / Azura's Star has zero weight regardless of quest status.
The Black Star, as well as Azura's star don't weigh anything.
Does the command to add skill levels level you up? if not then that may well be an alternative.
Yes, ADVskill does level you up like if you leveled it normally. However, there is a command that does not. However, as you do not gain skill XP, and do not level you also won't gain perk point to put into enchanting.
