I hate disarm
I hate getting hit with it and then having to stumble around desperately looking for my weapon somewhere on the floor in this dark dingy crypt. I'd be fine with disarm if it just unequipped your weapon like it does with your shield but no, it has to fling it onto the ground.

Get Spellbreaker, it protects against Disarm an any magic attack and is quite a hefty, heavy shield in it's self, and provides 38 base armour.

Since Druger, are only found in crypts, you really only need to equip it in the crypt.

Unfortunately, it's 1 of the longest quest's on a par with "fetching Ariels bow"

Spellbreaker doesn't benefit from any of the smithing perks meaning it'll never be as good as the best craftable shields.

That why unique items are fun to use by their own if you know how to use them right.

I reached level 31 so I'm glad I'll never have to worry about that annoying shout for the rest of the run.

Don't talk rot, U only want it during druger deathlords, nothing says u have to use it all the time.

Solution: Be a mage, don't use melee. Or be a stealth archer.

I've played 3 stealth archer runs and 2 mage runs, I want to be a pure warrior this time around.

im not sure if it counts against shouts, but you could try magic resistance enchants on armor or something similar

If you're using bash as part of your style, yes it it is the best. Bashing only takes into account base armour rating for this and no shield has a higher base armour than Spellbreaker: No amount of improving an item, unless using a mod to change the formula, will get bashing up any higher. This also applies to weapon bashing which only counts the weapon's base damage.

Spellbreaker also lets you ignore even Ancient Dragon breath attacks with impunity.

As for armour: Past a certain point, armour rating does nothing. And in heavy armour, this is something that can be achieved with even iron armour.

Weapons have no damage cap so that's fair if you want to improve them into infinity. On armour, it's a waste of time.

No Disarm (Unequip Instead)[www.nexusmods.com] still works...
R4ndomG4mer Sep 7, 2024 @ 5:39pm
Just unequip your weapon right before they shout, then re-equip afterwards.
DeathStroke Sep 7, 2024 @ 5:43pm
summoned weapons cant be disarmed

I have trolled Draugr Deathlords for over 12 years doing this lol

I prefer using the impact perk with lightingbolt to instantly knock back any draugr before they can shout. Giving me more time to kill them and I can't lose spells with the disarm shout. Whatever works for each of us playing the game.
