Have you done a clean install such that all old data is removed ?
"its only so far with those 2 games."
so it is two games and not many games
have installed bethesda games on win me xp 7 10 and 11 since morrowind in 2002.
do not know of any profile settings that change where to store settings files for only two games.
it is possibly to change location of the Documents folder for everything.
right click on Documents in the file manager
then properties then location
in your admin login it should read C:\users\yourAdminLogin\Documents
maybe yours is pointing to another account
but then all your games would store settings/saves elsewhere.
you can have one drive turned off for all users but running for your admin account.
if you ran revo uninstaller, then the steam game folder should be gone, the game registry entries, as well as folder
c:\users\yourLoginAccount\appdata\local\skyrim special edition
and you said you deleted Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition
so where does a clean install get changed to store skyim and oblivion settings in another account folder? it is not downloaded that way. there are no entries in the registry nor files on the hard drive to change the location.
uninstall skyrim again with revo. delete the Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition folder. search the windows registry for skyrim. should NOT find anything.
Revo Uninstaller doesn't remove the steam folder itself, I went into that folder with all my steam apps to check for installation files and stuff, and to see if there were any traces of the saved games. All other games and their saves work 100%
"I forgot to mention, before purchasing the game I had the cracked version of it,"
the other accounts use the same steam files and are not affected. that leaves the cracked version changed something/left something behind that is STILL doing something on your admin account
mod organizer tool also can move .ini files
