Can't enter the Solitude sewers...

...what am I doing wrong?

I've seen videos of people entering the sewers via the manhole cover next to the shady lizard guy, but I'm not getting the prompt. What do I need to do first?

I'm on the "Restoring Order" quest. I've read in that journal that the conjurer hangs out in the sewers. I've cleared all the Seducer camps and caves. What else am I missing?

There is a patch to fix that, it will mover the normal sewer entrance, so the S&S quest will work. Here is the link to it on nexus.

Looking at these mods I see I got the Creator's content (the S&S questline), but it utilizes sewers that don't exist unless you install these mods. Makes me laugh. I might download and install these mods, but not right now.

You might be in the wrong area, a copy pasted section perhaps.

Try walk around to the other one.

I certainly didn't need a MOD, to enter the sewers, it's the sewers at the bottom of the stairs, straight ahead, as u enter the city

If you have the Pirate themed CC house, it also has a sewers entrance, using the same manhole too, you need to make sure you have the right sewers selected, since the sewers for the pirated themed CC house won't let you enter once you have found the cave it's in (even if you haven't cleared it out yet)
